Regular volunteer programs remain suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteer Resources is currently accepting applications from prospective volunteers for a few modified roles that specifically support our COVID-19 response.

We are so proud to have so many dedicated and passionate volunteers here at the IWK Health Centre and we thank you for considering us as an organization to contribute your time, energy, and compassion.
Our history is rooted with volunteer involvement – from our Board of Directors to our patient supports to our ‘behind the scenes’ – volunteers truly make a difference in the lives of our patients, families, and staff.
As an IWK volunteer, you will have the opportunity to be many things – an ambassador for the health centre with our patients/families/visitors, a comfort to a patient, or a champion for change. Whatever your role, we hope you will find a place within our team.
