Regular volunteer programs remain suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteer Resources is currently accepting applications from prospective volunteers for a few modified roles that specifically support our COVID-19 response.

NON-MEDICAL FACE MASKS
The IWK is now accepting sewn mask donations of non-medical masks. Masks must be made to the official “Sew method” pattern only and are not for medical use. Donations can be dropped off to the IWK Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. by appointment only. A member from our Volunteer Resources team will meet donors outside the building to receive the donation. Please call 902-470-6692 or email Kylene.Mellor@iwk.nshealth.ca to arrange a drop off.
Our goal is to minimize potential exposure to as many people as possible for the community at large, while continuing to provide our patients and families the same quality care and we thank you for your patience and support.
