On Monday, October 26, 2015 ten researchers from across Nova Scotia shared their hopes for improving health care in Nova Scotia and how research and innovation could help achieve those goals.
Their presentations were part of the 2nd Annual Research and Innovation in Health Care Forum, held in front of a packed house in the Paul O’Regan Hall, Halifax Central Library.
In keeping with the innovation theme, speakers were challenged to deliver their presentations in the Pecha Kucha style. With only 20 slides, and 20 seconds spent on each slide, each presenter had less than seven minutes to explain their ideas. This resulted in a fun, fast-paced, entertaining and informative evening.
Over 300 people attended the event in person while another 200 computers were tuned in to the live stream feed provided by The Chronicle Herald
