How we Help

Assessment by team:

  • Most visits are through our ambulatory clinic.
  • A thorough diet and bowel history will be obtained.
  • A plan of care will be discussed that could involve any of the following
    • Diet recommendations
    • Oral medications
    • Enemas/irrigations/suppositories
    • Toileting schedule
    • Reward system
    • Surgical/radiological intervention

Each child is different and plans of care are developed to meet the child's/family's unique physical, psychological, social and economic circumstances.
