IWK researchers constantly strive to refine and improve treatments. This involves ongoing evaluation of medications, procedures and protocols, as well as testing new treatments and comparing them to current gold standards. These researchers are also interested in evaluating the impact of patient, family and caregiver education programs on treatment outcomes.
Centre for Research in Family Health
The Centre coordinates and evaluates such initiations as Family Help. This innovative program uses technology and trained coaches to deliver psychosocial health services to children and families.
