Jennifer graduated from Dalhousie University School of Nursing with a BScN in 1996, and began her career at the IWK as a staff nurse on 5West (a surgical unit). She came to work in the orthopaedic clinic in 1997, and has been here since with the exception of a leave from 2007-2009 (during which time she worked with pediatric rehabilitation services as operations manager). She returned to the orthopaedic clinic in 2009, and now works part time. She has two lovely little girls, Leah and Sophie.
