Research

The IWK is home to many talented researchers pursuing projects that will lead to better care for women, children, youth and families.

During the 2009/2010 fiscal year, external peer-reviewed funding for IWK research efforts topped an impressive $20 million. The IWK invested close to another $1 million in research infrastructure and programs last year.

This section introduces you to some of these research initiatives, as well provides information specific to researchers working at the IWK or interested in being a part of the IWK's talented research community.
