The IWK Neuromuscular Clinic provides a multidisciplinary service to address the needs of children/youth with neuromuscular disorders and their families. A neuromuscular disorder is a progressive disorder caused by the improper functioning of nerves and muscles in the body which causes muscles to weaken and waste away over time.
