Effective September 1, 2012, families in the Children's Health program will be asked to bring their own diapers with them to the IWK Health Centre.
In alignment with existing practice in the IWK Women’s and Newborn Health Program, all families of admitted patients in the Children’s Health Program will be expected to bring a supply of diapers for their child, just as families would supply their own diapers at home. In the case of urgent/emergent admissions, families would be expected to provide their own diapers after 48 hours.
